Thermic Sense (presentation three)
This is done in a three-period lesson. The directress tests one set of Thermic Bottles, for example, hot, cold, and warm bottles.
First Period: the directress introduces each bottle to the child, she tells the child the names of each one and she asks him to repeat the names after her. She isolates each bottle by pacing it to one side and introduces the next one.
Second period: the directress asks the child to show her certain bottles she asks for, she spends a lot of time in this period, she can muddle them up and do it again.
Third Period: the directress asks the child if he can tell her the name of each bottle. She isolates each one by placing it to one side.
The directress consolidates the lesson by encouraging the child to name each bottle by pointing at each one individually.
What does the child learn by doing a three-period lesson with the Thermic Bottles?
This activity encourages children to be able to name the Thermic Bottles and to become more aware with different temperatures in his environment.
