The snake game: bonds of ten

This is a wonderful activity to show the child how to make bonds of ten with the beads. The child learns how to exchange coloured beads for golden ten-bead bars at the appropriate time when counting. This activity introduces the child to the concept of addition.

The snake game: changing using the black and white stair

This activity is very similar to the one mentioned above, the difference here is the child will learn how to exchange with the black and white stair. This Montessori Math exercise reinforces the exchanging process.
