Blindfold trail (group)
How does a directress take a group of children on a Blindfold trail?
The directress invites a group of 4/5 children outside on a blindfold trail at a time. The directress would have learnt the route before taking the children outside, so she knows where to go. She asks the kids if they want to put on a blindfold, and gives each child a broomstick to act as a guide so they know where they are going.
The directress lets the children explore nature and asks them different questions. She may ask them if they can feel different specimens, hear different sounds, and even if they can smell different smells in the environment.
What do children learn by going on a Blindfold trail?
This activity teaches children attention to detail, it helps develop their senses (except for sight) as well as this activity sharpens the children’s senses.
